Blind Melon is an alternative rock band made popular in the mid-nineties with hits like “No Rain” and “Tones of Home”. Following the 1995 death of lead singer Shannon Hoon, the group disbanded and then reformed in 2006 with the new lead vocalist Travis Warren. In October, Blind Melon performed their first show in 12 years in Providence, Rhode Island. The band’s new album entitled “For My Friends” is expected to be released on April 22nd.
