As part of the Aspen Art Museum’s artCRUSH 2009 Soft and Psychedelic summer benefit, the AAM and Belly Up Aspen, present afterpartyCRUSH with renowned Prince tribute act Purple Reign.

Formed in Las Vegas in 1997 by front man Jason Tenner (Prince), Purple Reign has shared billing with acts Destiny’s Child, Reynaldo Ray of BET’s “Comic View,” and legendary R&B group The Bar-Kays. Current members of the group consist of world-class entertainers and musicians who have worked with Ashanti and Enrique Iglesias, as well as made the Top 20 on the Billboard magazine charts. In 2006 Purple Reign was voted “Best Tribute Artist Show” by the Black Music Association of Las Vegas—adding to their previous accolade as “Top 3 Visitors’ Choice” for ‘Best Lounge Act’ in What’s On Las Vegas magazine. LA Weekly deemed their show: “One of the 16 Things You Can’t Afford to Miss in Vegas.”
