Spalding, a bassist, vocalist and composer, who recently performed at Obama’s White House Poetry Slam, challenges and redefines the common perceptions of what jazz is and where it’s heading. Her debut album incorporates the rich traditions of soul, pop, world music and so much more.

N7, an acapella, soul and R&B group who practices “vocal play,” are known for their rich harmonies and ability to replicate instruments – every instrument sound they sing is created from the human voice. Recently, they shared the stage with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, legendary musician and producer Brian Eno and Natalie Imbruglia at London’s Pigalle.
