Lead guitarist for Widespread Panic is hitting the road under his own name with an ensemble of well-known musicians. JHB creates a hybrid of rock and jazz and will be performing material from Herring’s solo album “Lifeboat.” Herring has performed stints with Phil Lesh and Friends, the Allman Brothers, and the Dead. The band features great artists such as drummer extraordinaire Jeff Sipe, Greg Osby on saxophone, keyboardist Scott Kinsey and Oteil Burbridge (spring tour only) on bass.
