Nick Lowe has been writing witty and literate pop ditties since the late 60s. His most well known songs include “(I Love The Sound of) Breaking Glass,” “All Men Are Liars,” and “Cruel to Be Kind”. He also wrote the tune “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding” which was a major hit for Elvis Costello in 1979. His ever changing style has influenced generations of other artists. The release of his first album in 6 years, At My Age, finds Nick Lowe in fine form, both the quality of the songwriting and of course his iconic style.
