Don’t let the face of an angel and blonde hair fool you. Laura Wilde, the 22 year old fast-rising rock talent is armed with killer guitar riffs and a kick ass attitude to match. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Laura is determined to create a fresh interpretation of traditional rock and roll for a new, younger generation of fans.
At 19, she moved to Los Angeles, and now released her debut album Sold My Soul. The album features Laura’s brand of guitar-driven hard rock. Songs like “Backseat”, “For You” and the title track, Sold My Soul (which is the first single) are perfect showcases for Laura’s talents as both a guitarist and singer. Her influences – everyone from Suzi Quatro, Slade, Slash, Jimi Hendrix, Dave Grohl and Jimmy Page – are evident in her playing style and songwriting.
