The Redtones

The Redtones are the Aspen area’s hottest new band! After bursting onto the scene in early 2008, this 5-piece band recently had the Carbondale crowd dancing up a storm during their performance on the main stage at Mountain Fair. The main focus of The Redtones is rock and roll with some R&B, roadhouse, country and folk music influences. They all have even more diverse musical backgrounds, and all five sing, helping to merge a wide range of musical styles and tight vocal harmonies. The band performs many superb original songs, as well as cover tunes by artists such as Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen, The Band, John Hiatt, Little Feat, and many others.
“The Redtones know how to rock the house. They take the audience on a musical journey. Their cover songs are real crowd pleasers and their originals are strong and spunky. Check them out!” — Amy Kimberly, Carbondale Mountain Fair, KDNK Radio, Carbondale Colorado
“Nelson Oldham’s original songs deliver rock and roll that sounds like music that Eric Clapton never released from his Delaney and Bonnie years. Like your favorite pair of sandals, comfortable down-home rock and roll with no pretensions. They mix rootsy rock, blues, and swing for a fun ride.” — Skip Naft, KVNF Radio, Paonia Colorado
