Salem music is an amalgamation of funk, Afro-Cuban jazz, and hip-hop idioms. Todd Anders Johnson’s socially-conscious compositions have been featured in Warren Miller’s “Off the Grid” and in the national film tour of “Playground.” The group is playing the X Games, the US Freeskiing Open in Copper and the Jeep King of the Mountain World Championships in Sun Valley this season. Salem is sponsored by Chugach Powder Guides, the world-premier heli-ski and board guiding company in Girdwood, Alaska. Bono’s One Campaign and Jubilee Coalition are working with Todd and Salem in events and media productions as well.
