Electric, exotic, millennium funk made for park jams on tropical islands. Muscle-bound super-beats coughing cavernous drums and chest-shaking bass notes over huge, swaying crowds of people and fierce, ferocious, feelgood flows. Lush, whip-tight instrumental backgrounds padding vivid, visual verses of standing street level, striving for something higher. Omni embodies his name, and this time around hes making sure everyone is listening with his third album, Ballyhoo.

Largely shunning guest appearances on his previous works, Omni decided to use Ballyhoo as an opportunity to collaborate with a number of fellow artists he holds in high esteem, and the lineup speaks for itself: former Pharcyde frontman FatlipFatlip, Freestyle Fellowship emcee Myka NineMyka Nine, and Lootpack representative WildChildWildChild (who all appear on the Ballyhoo 12). Living Legends co- founder LuckyiamPSCLuckyiamPSC, Omnis fellow BLX crew members Sklim MilxSklim Milx and MolmaniakMolmaniak, and up-and-coming talents AbnormalAbnormal, Big SwishBig Swish, DeejayPudgEmcee, and Jefferson Jefferson DeJesusDeJesus also guest.

Earganic, one of LAs hottest rising producers, and Belgiums B9000 production massive split beat duties on Ballyhoo, dipping the album in a stream of maracas hand- claps and other worldly melodies, all manned by Omnis calm, steady baritone. Omni has been touring the world almost non-stop for the last couple of years, and he brings the experiences, cultures and sounds of the whole world together on Ballyhoo, an album for everyone, everywhere.

A Los Angeles native raised during the Golden Era of 90s West Coast hip-hop where extra-lyrical groups like Souls Of Mischief and strictly gangsta acts like Tha Dogg Pound were both parts of the average heads musical diet, Omni blends the best of these influences with his distinctive baritone, Cali twang, and a universal, wide-lens outlook on life to create a sound perfectly befitting of his name. Equal parts street and lyrical, b-boy and conscious, Omnis enjoys a reputation as real hip-hops best-kept secret among those in the know.
