Nic Pizzolatto

Nic Pizzolatto was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. His stories have appeared in the Atlantic, Oxford American, Iowa Review, Missouri Review, and various other literary journals. He has received several awards, and his work has been a finalist for the National Magazine Award in Fiction. His first book, Between Here and the Yellow Sea, was named by Poets & Writers as one of the top five fiction debuts of 2006. He currently lives in Chicago, where he teaches writing and literature at the University of Chicago.
