Manda is a sixth generation Los Angeleno, a true California girl who grew up on the sounds of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and the Doors. Her songwriting style focuses on lyric and storytelling supported by catchy choruses and simplicity in the subtleties. Her vocal is sultry and smooth with a bit of grit mixed in and true originality. She’s an accomplished guitarist, plays harmonica and draws on blues influences. Her musical training started with High School Jazz band, and she went on to study at Grove School of Music and finally at Berklee College of Music. Her debut album was released on April 7th, 2009 on Red Parlor Records.
