Denver based HOT IQs recently release the “insanely catchy and impossibly fun”(Gorilla vs Bear) Dangling Modifier EP earlier this year. The EP marks the follow-up to An Argument Between the Brain and Feet, their “instant pop classic” (Denver Westword) debut . SPIN says the wit-pop trio “boast witty lyrics, shake-your-knee hooks, a hot female drummer and songs that make you want to dance through and avalanche.”
This sharp-tongued and soft-hearted band has completely won the love of its hometown, where the Boulder Daily Camera hailed their debut as 2004’s “Album of the Year” and the Rocky Mountain News named them the “Best Band in Colorado.”
