DJ David Carvalho
One of the hardest working dj / producers in the U.S., you can find Dj David Carvalho traveling around the globe sharing his music with party people alike. Whether he is playing House Music in Spain or Hip-Hop in Brazil, his love and passion for music shines thru his sets. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, David has had the opportunity to be enlightened by most every type of musical genre there is. Over the last 10 years, he has been able to work with some incredible clubs and private events such as Christina Aguilera, Scion, Golden State Warriors, Google, and Virgin just to name a few. His musical style stems from his love of good music in general. There is not one type of music that drives David’s djing, but an accumulation of electronic, mash-up, reggae, funk, soul, hip-hop, and anything else that pleases the crowd. In 2005, Carvalho won Dj of the Year in San Francisco by Scion Car Company and was awarded in Miami at the annual Winter Music Conference. In 2007, Dj David Carvalho has booked over 200 gigs and will be heading on tour in 2008 to Brazil, Ibiza, and St. Thomas as well as his U.S. shows. When in San Francisco, you can find David at the hottest clubs in town. Ruby Skye, Slide, Dolce, and many other residencies house Dj Carvalho on a weekly basis and he is proud to call San Francisco his home. David is also working to start an artist management company (Play Agency) to send other dj’s and producers around the country representing San Francisco and their unique style and unmatched quality of music.
