Dead Celebrity Status
The fiery forces behind Dead Celebrity Status have been making music since they were teens. Formerly of the Canadian gold status-recording artist “Project Wyze” (Sony), Yas and Bobby have been submersed in the street music scene. Hip Hop is not just an art to them it is their way of life. At the age of thirteen this duo quickly built a reputation as gifted lyricists and explosive performers. At such an early age Yas and Bobby were on the forefront of rap culture, the evidence being that they appeared as one of the first white groups to be featured on the pages of Rap Masters magazine. “Project Wyze” lead the pair to tour the nation opening for legends Public Enemy, Ozzy Osborne and even trekking The Warped Tour. Compromised by the corporate beast, spending two years fighting battles, plagued with the politics and red tape of the music industry “Project Wyze” decided to unplug their mics.
Yas and Bobby continuously work with each other to create new music. These two primal maniacs have gone into the darkness of the urban jungle and have resurfaced, coming back at you retooled, reworked, and revamped. Teaming up with the #1 DJ on earth
