As Mr. Bill of 99.7 WRFX in Charlotte, NC puts it, “They look like Guns N’ Roses, they sound like Guns N’ Roses, they even smell like Guns N’ Roses”. While the guys in the band would argue the last point, most who have seen an Appetite for Destruction show would agree that the first two are true. It was even speculated that Appetite for Destruction has probably been together longer and played more concerts that the original line up of Guns N’ Roses ever did. The guys in the band would tell you you’re crazy if you had this forecast back in 2000 when the band began. After all, Appetite for Destruction was originally meant to be a ‘one time only’ tribute show in Raleigh, NC. But 7 years, 600+ shows and a quarter of a million fans later, the band is still going strong.

After all this time, Appetite For Destruction still studies Guns N’ Roses footage on a regular basis to ensure they are staying true to the band they are paying tribute to. Initially, many tribute bands will learn the songs of the band they are covering and spend time studying the artist’s stage performance. But, as time passes, the show usually diminishes in accuracy as the performer incorporates elements of their own performance style. This is certainly not the case with Appetite For Destruction. You can expect to see as much of a Broadway style play as a raw rock and roll show at an Appetite For Destruction concert.

Appetite For Destruction delivers the most authentic Guns N’ Roses performance anyone can see today. As fans will tell you, an Appetite For Destruction show is like traveling back in time to see Guns N’ Roses in their prime. From the moment you hear the words “You know where you are? You’re in the jungle, baby…” until long after the drive home, you’ll feel as if you got a glimpse of how it was in Los Angeles circa 1987. Song material is drawn from all Guns N’ Roses albums, with stage banter derived from a variety of live shows and videos. Appetite For Destruction plays all the favorites – Sweet Child O’ Mine, Paradise, Patience and many many more.

In venues far and wide, Appetite For Destruction has played to rave reviews for aural and visual authenticity. They will continue until they have brought their rock and roll circus to every corner of the United States.
