American Relay
Born out of a love for American roots music, punk rock ethos, a serendipidous rencontre, and a mutual disdain for the state of popular music, two young men from the mountains of Colorado set out to revive the soul of American rock and roll. Through the channels of blues, distortion and sweat, these two gents have found something that trancends the genres of today to produce soulful, honest music that not only reminds us of the best and underappreciated of years past, but can also get that ass a shakin’!
American Relay has shared the stage with various national acts including: Earl Greyhound, Deadboy and the Elephantmen, The Heartless Bastards, Black Diamond Heavies, ASG, SPOT, HILLSTOMP, Sugar Farm, Arum Rae, Rex Hobart and The Misery Boys, Ike Reilly, Blackfire Revelation, Lez Zepplin as well as local fav’s Horse Thief, The Reverend Deadeye, Possessed by Paul James, GIT SOME, Ghost Buffalo, The Tarmints, National Blues Arsenal, Frontside Five, The Plaigiarists, and I’m A Boy, Buckwild to name but a few.
