A Christian McBride Situation

Grammy Award winning chamelonic virtuoso of the acoustic and electric bass, Christian McBride often works with bands that he assembles that are not his regular working bands, calling these “A Christian McBride Situation”. The performance at the JAS June Festival will feature McBride on acoustic and electric bass, Patrice Rushen on piano and keyboards, Walter Smith, III on saxophone, Jahi Sundance and DJ Logic on turntables and Maysa Leak, vocals. The music is free flowing and often completely improvised. The DJ’s act as the drummers for the group.
